A frame of a workshop made out of wire contains a stove, windows, and a large circular stone on a base in the middle.

The work was commissioned for Dublin's bicentennial, and celebrates one of the city's early residents, a German immigrant named George M. Karrer. Represented is the blacksmith workshop that Karrer built and operated.
