This memorial has multiple separate parts that make up the whole of the memorial. It is comprised a long, short wall with small metal emblems embedded at the base. In the center of the wall is a stone podium with a plaque on the front. The wall is flanked by 2 WWII field guns with small headstone-like plaques in front of them. Behind the entire scene are 7 flag poles.

The emblems on the bottom of the wall symbolize various decorations and factions of the U.S. military. The plaque on the front of the podium reads:
A GRATEFUL CITY PAYS TRIBUTE TO ITS HONORED DEAD

The plaques in front of the field guns thank and list various contributors and reads:
