All materials used to create this piece were found at the business. This sculpture has become a landmark of Mahoning Valley and stands at the entrance to Niles Iron and Metal Co.’s scrapyard on state Route 46 in Niles .
Rackoff himself was a steelworker in his 20s and later went on to become a rabi. As a noted sculptor known for his found metal works, Rackoff has made an impression on both the Jewish community and Youngstown/Niles Community.
